Just be sure you rub the paper in the direction of the grains. Sand and then apply a layer of teak oil. After applying the oil, make sure you simply dry the wood well.

Covers

Many individuals enjoy using covers to protect their teak furniture. But you shouldn't use covers. It's likely that moisture will become trapped inside whatever covering you use. Additionally, there won't be enough air for the furniture to breathe properly. Such circumstances are perfect for promoting the growth of mold on furniture.

Molds

To prevent mold from growing on the teak furniture, a routine washing is necessary. Molds want foreign materials like moisture and dirt. The teak furniture must thus be cleaned on a regular basis. To remove mold, mix some bleach with water. After letting the mixture soak in the water for at least twenty minutes, rinse your furniture with water.
