The export of furniture products to various countries has certainly declined due to c0v1d-19

The export of furniture products to various countries has certainly declined following the government's protection from the c0v1d-19 corona virus by various countries.

Chairman of the Indonesian Furniture and Crafts Industry Association (HIMKI) Jepara Maskur Zaenuri said that the impact of the c0v1d-19 was very much felt by entrepreneurs and furniture makers from various regions in Indonesia, especially Jepara.

Although not yet able to convey the real export figures, but he ensured a decrease of between 20-40 percent of the export volume of these furniture products.

As an entrepreneur, he experienced this decline. The export volume, which usually reaches 10-11 containers per week, can now only send 6-8 containers per week.

"This condition is also complained of by businessmen friends and other crafters," he said Thursday (03/12/20).

The decline in export volume was influenced by several factors, including the existence of several countries that closed the total export and import faucets, such as China and Italy.

In addition to the two countries, other countries in Asia, Europe, America, Australia and Africa are tightening exports and imports of products as an effort to protect their citizens from the corona virus.
